MY LIFE IN TRAINS
My Story - Part Five
Duck Lees Lane Crossing, Ponders End
After our school trip to Chester, Wrexham and Oswestry on 2 January 1960, my next photography outing was to Duck Lees Lane crossing, just down the line from Ponders End. I was still to learn that my camera and film combination probably wasn’t up to capturing moving trains in February, but if I had we wouldn’t have this snapshot of an afternoon on the Cambridge line in the winter of 1960.
