MY LIFE IN TRAINS
My Story - Part One
Liverpool Street Suburban
Growing up in Chingford and Walthamstow meant that I often travelled behind the ex-LNER N7 tanks to and from Liverpool Street on the way to trainspotting adventures.
For some reason I took few photos of the N7 suburban trains, but here are three that I did capture.

LNER N7/5 0-6-2T No 69671 storms to the top of Bethnal Green bank on 15 April 1960.
My local line for the first 19 years of my life - Wood Street, Walthamstow, with LNER N7/3 0-6-2T No 69707 heading for Liverpool Street on 24 April 1960 shortly before the electrics took over.
LNER N7/5 0-6-2T No 69671 heads a down suburban train out of Liverpool Street at Bishopsgate on 2 April 1960.
The 'gangster' cars are parked outside the Krays family home - I lived!
Excellent sharp atmospheric photos ! Frankythefox.
